Wood from the White House [realia], circa 1801-1809?

The collection contains two blocks of wood. Both have holes drilled through. One contains [an identification code?] in green paint. The wood was found in the defunct Army Times collection in a box labeled "Wood from white House Removed when White House was renovated during Theodore Roosevelt Administration." A second label reads "Carved [during?] 3rd [administration?].

2 blocks: wood; 17 x 7 x 6cm. and smaller.
